About Tastes Like Real Food

I was an exchange student in Bryne, Norway. Years later, not long after I was diagnosed with celiac disease, my mom and I visited my host family.
They served Toro breads and desserts, which were so much better than U.S. products. Like many people with gluten intolerance, I was tired of paying good money for baking products that didn’t taste good.
I discovered that Norwegians knew all about gluten intolerance, because Scandinavians are more prone to celiac disease.
Toro had long ago perfected delicious gluten-free baked goods. Europeans have been enjoying Toro gluten-free products for 30 years.
I did not understand why I could not get the same quality of products in the United States, and realized there was a huge demand for good-tasting gluten-free products.
So, I decided to bring them to North America, for myself and other sufferers.
Our mission is to help people living with celiac disease and gluten-sensitivity enjoy meals again.
