In order to answerthat question I asked myself the following questions:
1. Do I eat a varietyof antioxidant rich fruits everyday?
I don’t know about you but my answer was “NO” and my diet would be consideredhealthy by most.
As a mother of threeyoung children I also asked myself:
2. Do my children eatenough fruit to reduce the effects of free radical damage on their bodies?
Again my answer was “NO.”
Itis my belief - that my greatest legacy is to protect them fromunnecessary physical pain and suffering, by providing a healthy dietfrom an early age.
3. “How much fruitwould I need to eat compared to drinking Mistica?”
Well, let’s take a look at Mistica; in each bottle there areextracts from 11 “super”fruits. I have researched that to achieve the nutritional equivalent ofall the fruits contained in just one bottle of Mistica - I would needto eat approximately 112lbs of fruit!
The recommended daily dose of Mistica is one or two ounces -which equals between one and two bottles per month.
Okay… I’m not going to consume 112lbs or more of fruit in a month - unless I’m going to graze all day andprobably gain a few pounds! But, I could easily drink one or twoounces of Mistica each day.
If thevariety and quantity of fruits contained in Mistica were not necessary- wouldn’t the manufacturer just put less in? If the cost were the samewouldn’t they make more profit?
It is thecombination of fruits found in Mistica that resulted in the reductionof free radical damage; as evidenced in a study conducted by C. NormanShealy, M.D., Ph.D.
4. Are all fruitscreated equal?
Aswe have all heard “man cannot survive on bread alone.” We are all awarethat we need to eat a variety of foods in order to survive.
Withsuch an abundant variety of fruits that grow on the earth, maybe theyare available to us because our bodies need them? I discovered that allfruits are not created equal, that while each one may have anutritional benefit, there are some fruits which have a tremendousability to support my body.
5. “How much would itcost for me to purchase the fruit compared to drinking one to two ounces ofMistica a day?”
I compiled the average cost of each of the fruits found inMistica and what I discovered was:
- A daily serving of each of the fruits it would cost me approximately $14.5 a day.
- Compare that to $1.60 a day for a 1oz serving of Mistica
6. “Do I have thetime to purchase a constant supply of fresh fruit, prepare it and then eatit?
My answer was “Notlikely”
Comparethat to pouring out 1oz (two tablespoons) each day from a bottle ofMistica and drinking it… That wasn’t hard for me to see the benefit ;)
7. Then there is thequestion of seasonal availability and access to some of these fruits?
There’s a problem for sure!
So what did Idiscover?
- To purchase the fruit would cost me $14.50 a day.
- I would spend a great deal of time at the grocery store (not something that appealed to me.)
- Itwould require me to spend all day eating fruit, and even though it’sfruit, in those quantities I would gain weight!
- Locating some of the fruits and having access to them year round was a big problem.
- It would be impossible to get MY children to eat that much fruit!
Compared to:
-
Onlya $1.60 a day: That cost is much less than the health drinks andsmoothies at those trendy juice bars. An Açai berry smoothie at "Juiceit Up" costs $4.25!
- It is shipped directly to the front door.
- The convenience of reaching for a bottle of Mistica right out of the fridge.
- My children could easily drink 1oz serving of Mistica.
- Thereare only 21 calories in a 1oz serving; although this isn’t stated onthe bottle. Try finding a fruit smoothie that contains only 21calories.
- Iprovide my body with a constant source of powerful nutritional support,to live as long as possible as well as possible!
- Ihave the peace of mind and assurance, that I can go about my day withmy body fully armed and protected, against the bad guys!
